Amazon is the world’s largest online retailer, with over 90,000 workers across the globe. They hire remote positions not just for HR but for Customer Service, Retail, Account Management, and more.
Some HR-related roles you might find listed include Sourcing Recruiter, Regional Human Resource Manager, and Recruiting Manager.
Keep in mind also that Amazon uses “pipeline listings,” which means one job posting can be for multiple openings.
3. Wellfound

If you’re in the United States and you’re looking for a high-paying remote HR job, check out Ladders. They specialize in high-paying jobs, usually positions that earn six figures or more. The majority of job openings on this site require five or more years of experience; however, there were a few job openings that required less than five years of experience. When I performed a search for remote human resources jobs, there were over 1,700+ job listings that came up. Definitely a good place to search for good-paying remote HR jobs!
What Qualifications Do Remote HR Professionals Need?
To work as a remote HR specialist, most companies prefer job seekers to have a bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field. Still, some will hire without a degree if the individual has the right skills and experience.
Expected skills and experience needed for remote HR professionals:
- Proficiency with MS Office or Google Docs
- Experience with Human Resources Information System (HRIS) or Human Resources Management System (HRMS)
- Great team player
- Excellent organizational
- Global communication skills

From the job ads I looked at, only a few were for entry-level HR positions. Of the entry-level positions I found, they still wanted 1-2 years of experience; the vast majority of remote human resources generalists require at least 3-5 years of experience.
