BEE has failed South Africans, says former National Treasury director-general Dondo Mogajane

Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) has failed as this agenda has been put on the back burner over the years, according to former director-general at the National Treasury and current chairperson of the government employees pension fund (GEPF) Dondo Mogajane.

He said that, 29 years into the democratic dispensation, delegates who gathered at the annual Black Management Forum (BMF) conference in Sandton on Friday were still bemoaning about the same issues, adding:
