UW and Wyoming Community Navigator Program to Discuss Squarespace Nov. 17

Small-business owners can learn how to build or edit their business websites using
Squarespace Friday, Nov. 17.

Liz Jamieson will present a Wyoming Community Navigator Program (CNP) webinar titled
“Squarespace 101” from 11 a.m.-noon. Squarespace is an American website building and
hosting company based in New York City. To register, go here. Registration is free.

The Wyoming CNP, through the Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network
at the University of Wyoming, provides small-business resources and assistance for
traditionally underserved entrepreneurs throughout Wyoming.

During the latest Wyoming CNP webinar, Jamieson will review how to select the right
template for your business; how to build and edit your pages; change your navigation;
fill in your search engine optimization settings; connect to your merchant processor
if you want to conduct e-commerce transactions on your site; register your domain
name; and use Squarespace chat support.

Jamieson has been coaching, facilitating and training in a variety of environments
for decades, including as a Washington SBDC certified business adviser; business coach
and program director for a Small Business Administration Women’s Business Center;
and as manager of corporate training and continuing education for a technical college.

She owned a website design and development firm for many years, where she coached
entrepreneurs in branding, sales and marketing. There, she worked on the online presence,
collateral and copy for over 100 different small businesses. To build her business,
she cold-called entire chamber of commerce directories. Jamieson’s strengths are in
technical online marketing, loan packaging, business planning and development, and
social media.
