FRCC offering job training programs at zero cost to students


Scholarships will cover all tuition, fees and course materials for 30 of FRCC’s career paths in education, health care, HVAC, forestry-related occupations

Front Range Community college is now offering 30 degree and certificate programs at no cost. Tuition, fees and course materials will be completely covered for students by Colorado’s Career Advance and Care Forward initiatives.

“These positions are critical to all of us who live in Colorado,” said FRCC President Colleen Simpson, EdD, in a press release. “We’re helping our students quickly start rewarding careers in several of the most needed and high-demand fields in our communities.”

Approximately 1,000 FRCC students have received Care Forward funding over the past year and more than 1,500 are currently enrolled in the no-cost programs his semester. Students who are already in one of these programs can also receive reimbursement through Career Advance or Care Forward.

FRCC’s is offering programs in the following fields:

  • Early Childhood and Elementary Education
  • Forestry and Wildland Firefighting
  • Health Care, Nursing and Emergency Medical Services
  • Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning
  • Wellness and Massage
