Local veteran business owners and philanthropists Cathi and Joe Maynard recently received the Montgomery County Veterans Coalition Veteran Community Award in recognition of their passion, unconditional commitment, and enduring dedicated service to our veteran community.

The award was presented during the “Surviving to Thriving Post Pandemic as a Veteran Owned Business” event, hosted by MCVC and the Better Business Bureau.

The purpose of the MCVC Veteran Community Award is to acknowledge those that honor the contributions our veterans make to our community.

“Both being veterans, the Maynards have invested in the betterment of our veteran community. Their generosity has demonstrated their commitment to ensuring our veterans have every opportunity to thrive,” Sherry Pickering Executive Director of MCVC said.
