Natalia Vershinina is a Professor of Entrepreneurship at Audencia Business School in Nantes, France, and she previously worked at De Montfort University and University of Birmingham in the UK. She is actively involved in the British Academy of Management and Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship. Natalia has researched how entrepreneurship intersects with ethnicity, gender and family business contexts. Theoretically she is interested in how structure limits the agency of entrepreneurial actors, and therefore her research focuses on othered, marginalised and disadvantaged entrepreneurs
