Ukraine received the last part of micro-financial aid from the EU for this year and €20M to support startups. What other help have international partners provided?


The European Parliament will vote on a new €50B EU program for Ukraine.

The EU has sent the last €1.5B to Ukraine as part of the macro-financial aid package for 2023.

The European Innovation Council will allocate €20M to support Ukrainian Deep Tech developments.About 200 Ukrainian startups are able to receive a total of €12M in grant funding (up to €60,000 per startup).

Also, Ukraine’s state budget received about $950M from Japan as part of the World Bank’s projects. Funding consists of a $52.4M grant under the HOPE housing renovation project and a $900M loan through the INSPIRE social security investment project.

Switzerland will allocate $13.66M of additional aid to Ukraine in the winter period, so the total amount of aid for the winter will increase to $30M.

Germany, through the European Energy Community, gave Ukraine a winter aid package of €88.5M.

In addition, Argentina sent Ukraine a 16th batch of humanitarian aid (products for long-term use and medicines).
