Arctic Angels in Action > U.S. Department of Defense > Story



Soldiers assigned to the 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 11th Airborne Division, also known as “Arctic Angels,” recently conducted jumps from a Marine Corps KC-130J Super Hercules during airborne operations at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska.

The training was designed to ensure mission readiness in an Arctic environment.

With rigorous training events, soldiers maintain the 11th Airborne Division’s priorities of care, readiness, leadership development and teamwork to accomplish the mission.
