Black History Month Art Exhibit
Visit the Tarrytown Warner Library to see this Annual Black History Month Art Exhibit. The event is free and will be on display for the whole month of February. On February 3rd, enjoy live music from Jazz Pianist Donovon Vernon. Plus, artists Ron Brown, Ella Hall, and Donald H. Whitely will be in the gallery for a reception and viewing of their recent work. Perspectives: An Invitational Exhibition Celebrating Black History Month by Clay Art Center Artists
Attend ‘Perspectives: An Invitational Exhibition Celebrating Black History Month.’ This features the works of Clay Art Center artists Earlene Cox and Gloria Nixon-Crouch. Firstly, this delves into the realms of human experience, identity, and fragility. Additionally, all are invited to attend the ‘Meet the Artists’ event. Visit the Bethany Arts Community for their 4th annual Black History Month exhibit. This includes oral history and genealogical research about the histories of Black entrepreneurs and Black organizations. Madam C.J. Walker: The First Black Female Millionaire (Virtual)
Participate in this virtual event to learn more about Madam C.J. Walker, the first Black female millionaire. Incredibly, Madam C.J. Walker was born to former slaves. She rose to fame when she created beauty care products for Black women. Additionally, registration is free. Click here to sign up.

The Execution of Helen Ray Fowler
Attend this powerful play highlighting the life of Helen Ray Fowler who ran boarding house when her husband was drafted into WWII. However, when she takes in George Knight a series of bad decisions results in his death.
