The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India ( ICAI ) is all set to host the Startup Sphere 2024 event in Bengaluru, the tech hub of India, from June 27th to 29th, 2024. Building on the success of last year’s inaugural event in Mumbai, this year’s edition is expected to be even bigger and better.
The event aims to be a melting pot for the Indian startup ecosystem, bringing together founders, investors, leaders, and other stakeholders. Startups will have a platform to showcase their ideas and seek funding, while investors can explore promising ventures. ICAI expects participation from over 10,000 attendees and hopes to facilitate over USD 200 million in funding commitments.
The three-day event will feature over 100 exhibitors, 200 startup pitches, and participation from representatives of over 100 ICAI branches across India. Renowned personalities, including eminent Ministers, unicorn founders, and government officials, are also expected to attend. This creates a unique opportunity for knowledge sharing and networking amongst key players in the startup world.
The event will delve into various crucial topics relevant to startups, including emerging trends, artificial intelligence, the intersection of technology and entrepreneurship, digital transformation strategies, and blockchain technology.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India offers startups a range of valuable resources, including mentorship, financial advisory services, project financing assistance, and expertise in working capital management. Their strong connection to the MSME sector further strengthens their support system for budding businesses.
The Startup Sphere 2024 event is supported by several government bodies like DPIIT, MeitY, STPI, and KITS. This collaborative effort highlights the collective focus on nurturing innovation and propelling economic growth through a thriving startup ecosystem.
