The mission began in 2004 as a response to a tsunami that devastated parts of Southeast Asia, but has since evolved its focus to enhancing partnerships.

Pacific Partnership 2023 is providing tailored medical care, conducting repairs at community facilities and hosting exercises on disaster response and humanitarian assistance.

It features nearly 1,500 personnel and is a joint effort between Australia, Canada, Chile, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Check out crews as they exchange best practices for natural disaster response and conduct mass casualty training.
